Well, I don't really know. I ordered the BCI-6 cartridges but received the 3e cartridges. Tried just the Cyan, since that's what I was out of, and, after 4 pages of print to get all the nozzles flowing properly, I can't tell the difference. I may have a different story later, but for the first day, so far so good....What's the difference between Canon ink BCI-3eC/Y/M %26amp; BCI-6C/Y/M? Are they simply the same w/ diff. packaging?

The magenta is a slightly different hue. They will fit, they will work however your colour shading will be a bit off.
