Refilling these CLI-8 cartridges is tricky, but can be done. My general feeling is that trying to refill your own cartridges is messy and a pain. If you are looking to save money on your printing I'd suggest buying compatible cartridges. You can't refill the cartridge, you'd have to go buy a new one, and make sure you recycle the old cartridge so they can reuse them.
