How do I resolve the 'U150 ink cartridge is not recognised' error message on my Canon MP520 printer?

I have found this. You will have to browse through them.

I found on other sites there appears to be a problem with all the colour catridges. [Bad design?]How do I resolve the 'U150 ink cartridge is not recognised' error message on my Canon MP520 printer?
Try holding down for a fair few seconds the reset button. This is usually a little button with a red triangle inside a red circle - this is what I have to do with mine. The orange warning light should go off as well. I have two Canons and both reset using this button. One is an MP220 the other MP610. You have to hold the button down hard for what seems likes ages but if this does not work then see if the manual says anything about that error - especially if you are using original cartridges.

  1. Nothing in this world is 100 percent reliable and same is Canon Printer story. Although, the printer promises to offer smooth and professional printing experience but sometimes it fails to do so. User can come up with so many different kinds of technical problems that they even won’t understand what actually went wrong. In such circumstances, get access to Technical Support for Canon Printer, then only you will be able to reform your printer performance and get what you are expecting from it.
