How do I reset the ink for a Canon Pixma MP610 Printer?

I was advised never to re-set the ink for a Canon Pixma MP610 Printer since I get my ink cartridges refilled. However, since I am not sure how to reset the ink in the first place, I want to be sure I don't do it by accident one day. (thank you very much by the way to whomever responded to my first question!)How do I reset the ink for a Canon Pixma MP610 Printer?
I think you read what was written wrong. You were not advised to never reset the ink, you were told that there is no way to reset the ink level counter with a refill only with a special chip re-setting device. You have already turned off your ink counter when you got it to print with refills. That grey symbol IS showing the ink level of that colour is disabled. If you ever put in a new chipped cartridge it will reset the ink counter but refilled cartridges want show as full - ever. So, to reiterate, you have already disabled your ink counter so you have to keep an eye on the cartridges by taking them out now and again and checking if they have ink.
