Which brand of ink is most compatible with canon ink jet printer?

i have canon i860 ink jet printer. do i really need canon brand

They don't ';require'; it... but I'd recommend it. I've seen people at work use generic toner and other inks in printers and they just seem to cause problems in some printers. Then again some people do not have any issues with the generic ones.





It's just something you'll have to try. If the generic ones are THAT much cheaper and you don't mind losing the $ if they don't work, go for them. Otherwise I'd say get the Canon ones.
