How do I reset my canon mp210 ink counter?

I've refilled my canon mp210 black cartidge but it still shows empty on the printer.How do I reset my canon mp210 ink counter?
You can't .. all manufacturers now use 'chips' to record ink tank levels and these are 'one time use' only ..





If you use a compatible cartridge, you still have to move the chip to the new cartridge, so the printer can ID the ink color .. but it still reads as 'empty' ..





All you can do is override the 'out of ink' msg. (and set 'don't tell me again').





This should be explained in the leaflet that came with your refill kit.
